Red Sands is the 5th region you get to unlock in progression of the main story. You will find Blackfell as the union stronghold here. This region is located at a vast desert area with several military bases guarded by Rosetta Soldiers. Enemies here are at level 40.
Settlement Guide
Once you arrive at any Settlements for the first time, you’ll be assigned to certain tasks typically to activate Rift Anchors, defeat elite and normal enemies, open mystical crate and look for weapon and armor crates.
While you only need to activate the Rift Anchors and can only open Mystical Crate on time per settlement, you can continue to go back to the same settlement to get the weapon and armor creates another time when it refreshes.
Here I have list down 5 settlements and 2 danger zones in Red Sands along with its recommended level, objectives and rewards.

This is by far the best settlement for you to visit a few times a day or a daily basis. Loot everything and just wait for it to refresh to loot again. They have the most resources including Furniture Formulas.

Objectives:
- Find Mystical Crate x 1: Head to the big building with car parks and find the staircase to head up to an open area. The crate is next to an elite enemy known as Weather Forecast.

Objectives:
- Find Mystical Crate x 1: Get to the top of the pipeline structure in the southern section of the oil rig and walk past the large white container to find the crate on your right.

- Find Weapon and Gear Crates x2

Objectives:
- Find Mystical Crate x 1: The crate is placed inside the building of the base with the Anchor Rift above it. Use the staircase to go down to the ground floor and you’ll see the crate placed next to the desk.

- Find Weapon and Gear Crates x2

- Find Mystical Crate x 1: Climb on top of the wooden outpost in the center of Fort Eyrie settlement and you’ll see the crate next to the staircase.

Objectives:
- Find Mystical Crate x 1: Defeat the guards inside the institute and travel to the basement of the building using the staircase to find the Mystical Crate placed in the glassed office.
