Moose City Food Factory is located northwest of the Moose City in the Onyx Tundra region. Recommended level to explore this settlement is level 9. The items you can loot here include random scraps, fiber and cheese.
Your exploration objectives are:
- Defeat normal enemies x 12
- Find Weapon and Armor Crates x 2
- Look for Mystical Crate x 1
- Activate Rift Anchor x 1
For weapon and gear crates, some of its contents may be different for each player so I’m just stating the drops that I’ve gotten.

The above map shows you the location of the rift anchor, 1 weapon crate, 3 gear crates, 1 food recipe and 1 mystical crate.
Weapon Crate 1 (Inside a grocery store)
This weapon crate can be found inside the storage room of the grocery store with a giant donut at the entrance. Potential drops are:
- Energy Link
- Random Gear Mod
- Weapon Mod Parts
- Shrapnel Grenade
- Copper Pistol Ammo
- Copper Rifle Ammo
Gear Crate 1 (Inside an office blocked by ice block)
There’s an ice block at the entrance to the office. You need to use Molotov or Torch to melt it away.
The gear crate is visible the moment you enter the room.
Food Recipe: Fruit Cake
The recipe is on the office table where the gear crate is at.
Gear Crate 2
The crate is in the storage building marked with number 1 on the southwest of the map.
This crate can be found in a narrow catwalk between steel tanks. Potential drops are:
- Energy Link
- Random Gear Mod
- Armor Mod Parts
Gear Crate 3
The crate is in the storage building marked with number 2.
This gear crate is located at the storage room where a Scorcher spawns. Be sure to deal with it first before opening the crate. Potential drops are:
- Energy Link
- Random Gear Mod
- Armor Mod Parts
Mystical Crate (Underground Basement)
Head to the Mousse Factory near the Rift Anchor.
The Mystical Crate can be found inside Mousse Factory. You may spot this huge ice blocking the way if it’s not already being melted by other players. Use a Molotov or Torch to melt the ice away, head towards the left and around the rack.
You should spot the path leading down to the basement. There might also be an ice wall blocking the way. Melt it and head down the stairs to get the crate.
Additional Item – Mystical Crate (Inside Mousse Factory)
When you’re in the facility of the Mousse Factory, you can spot the shiny purple thing above the generator. Interact with it and a mystical crate will spawn.
