Great River Shelter Zone is a level 17 settlement. It’s an old Rosetta base now occupied by the Vultures in Onyx Tundra in The Way of Winter scenario.
Objectives:
- Look for Mystical Crate x1
- Defeat normal enemies x12
- Find Weapon and Armor crates x2
Rewards:
- Plastic
- Random Scrap
- Beryllium Crystal

The map below indicated only the main loots to clear the settlement objectives. For more loots such as storage crates, you can check out the interactive map of Once Human.
Rift Anchor (Upper Helipad)
Take the elevator past Area 01 inside the building. Go up the stairs and the rift anchor will be on the helipad.
Gear Crate Location (Lower Helipad)
The gear crate is near the helicopter parked at the lower helipad. If you’re near the rift anchor, you can glide from that helipad to the second helipad where the gear crate is located.
Weapon Crates Locations
1. Inside Area 01 Prison
After you get off the elevator, proceed to the corridor towards Area 01 Person. The weapon crate will be behind a block of ice in the prison cell. Use a molotov to melt the ice block.
2. Main Building
Enter the building through the main entrance, then enter the locked room to the left in which you’ll need a Rosetta V2 card to open.
Mystical Crate Location (Inside a Locked Room)
Enter the main building, go up the stairs until you see a blue square outside the locked room containing the Mystical Crate. You’ll need to solve this puzzle. Stand in the square and align your perspective until you see the yellow R. The room will unlock afterwards.
