Chalk Peak is the 4th region you get to unlock in progression of the main story. You will find the Tall Grass Inn as the union stronghold here. This region is huge with mostly forest and mountain areas. Enemies here are below level 40.
Settlement Guide
Once you arrive at any Settlements for the first time, you’ll be assigned to certain tasks typically to activate Rift Anchors, defeat elite and normal enemies, open mystical crate and look for weapon and armor crates.
While you only need to activate the Rift Anchors and can only open Mystical Crate on time per settlement, you can continue to go back to the same settlement to get the weapon and armor creates another time when it refreshes.
Here I have list down 7 settlements and 2 danger zones in Chalk Peak along with its recommended level, objectives and rewards. I’ll also add some additional information regarding side quests and fun facts whenever I come across.

Recommended Level: 30
Objectives:
- Find Mystical Crate: The crate is in a locked room on the upper level of the administrative building. Use the elevator to reach the second floor and grab the access key for the locked room.

Objectives:
- Find Mystical Crate: Head inside the train shed in the west of the settlement. Climb up to the roof awning through the boxes stacked inside the train car. The crate is on the catwalk.

Objectives:
- Find Mystical Crate: When it comes to Rosetta bases, the mystical crate is most likely behind a sealed glass-door. This is located at the main military base on the ground floor. Acquire the access card by killing the elite enemy.
